Nya, fina bilder på prinsessan Madeleine

Prinsessan Madeleine har blivit intervjuad av Oriflame, som varit med och grundat stiftelsen World Childhood Foundation.

Vår svenska prinsessa har länge arbetat för och engagerat sig i Childhood, som stödjer utsatta barn i världen.

I dag är Madeleine själv mamma och det har säkert påverkat henne och kanske stärkt sitt engagemang ytterligare. Det finns ju ingenting som är viktigare än att barn får ha en barndom, utan våld, utsatthet och problem.

How would Her Royal Highness like to see World Childhood Foundation develop in the future?

– I hope that we can continue to grow as an organisation so that we can help more children around the world. Abuse and exploitation of children happen in every community around the world.

I’d like to ensure that everyone understands how they can help protect the children in their own lives, and to support organisations that are helping children in other communities.

This is why I created the ThankYou by Childhood campaign – so people remember the happy moments in their own childhood, and say thank you to the people who made those moments possible. Together, we can make sure that all children have happy memories of their childhood.

Children need more than shelter and food – they need love, guidance and the chance to grow without fear or instability in their lives. Unfortunately, many children around the world are subject to abuse and exploitation, making it difficult for them to experience a safe and happy childhood.
